Permutate: Inclusive Art Show On Saturday 27th August we held an exhibition and event at The Woolstore in Lyttelton. The event was a great success with a good turn out, even the sun showed up! There was a wonderful presentation by the SkillWise carving group about their Pou that they created with the Whakaraupo Carving Trust. Maui Stewart of Ngāti Wheke blessed the space and the event with a mihi, followed by a kapa haka by Te Roopu Te Hono. Local musicians Miki Pixton and Wanderer played for us, the Outreach Dance group performed a section of their upcoming show in November and Rebel Lynch who attends TWRO read an excerpt from her book she is writing. There were lots of sales and raffle ticket sales but most importantly everyone had a wonderful time and it was a celebration of art. We’d like to thank everyone who came along and all of our sponsors for helping make it happen.
