Chris is a prolific painter and is happiest when he has a paint brush in his hand. Layer upon layer is built up creating a rich explosion of colour and movement. The painting comes straight from his heart: thinking is not needed, pure action is the way. 
He has shown work in many exhibitions over the years including at Bowen House the exhibition space of the NZ Parliament, Eastside Gallery, Linwood, and Art Hole, Christchurch.
