Dance Group
The White Room outreach program are offering a dance group to connect artists from SkillWise and from the wider community. The dance group are working toward a performance, Intellectual Kissability, which will be staged on Wednesday 16 November 2022. You can book tickets at the following link.

Along the way, in preparation, the dance group have participated in guest workshops with Movement Art Practice, received free tickets to watch the dance performances Daybreak Estate (Red Leap Theatre) and Underside (Movement Art Practice), and done a practice performance at the Outreach 'Permutate' event.
Some dancers have also participated in a collaboration with Gap Filler and In Common called Light Shadows, in which choreography from our dance performance is projected onto a wall to enliven dead space around Christchurch City on Cashel Street.
Participating dancers include those from SkillWise, from the outreach group, professional ballet dancers and staff members Chris Farrow says "I enjoy the dance because it's like presence, it's not just working, it's presence, you feel the peace. It's like you're doing yoga."
